World Map 12-25-10

 This painting was inspired by my friend Allie. It is a world map on 15 10x10 canvases. It is mixed media with fabric, buttons, string, yarn, sand, paper, you name it... I made it as a Christmas gift for 14 of my friends (I kept one). It came out awesome and everyone loved it!

Virginia and I have started painting records. It feels very vintage-y and its fun to try out a different "canvas".

Guest book for the beautiful Jeanne Marie Whitaker's wedding this weekend. Guests will stamp a thumbprint leaf onto the painting. By the end of the wedding the tree will be full of leaves! I'll put up a picture of that when its done.
